Some time ago Carol Robbins asked for ideas for Eb clarinet solos:

I don't think there are a lot of original solos for Eb clarinet.
However, there are transcriptions of pieces which would be very
good for stylistic purposes (and they are fun, anyway).
"Educational" publishers, such as Rubank, have quite a few items.
Also, I use solos intended for alto clarinet (?) and especially
alto sax (only problem here is no low register notes).

I have played these on Eb clarinet:

(published for Eb clarinet)
"Fantaisie Concertante" - Lecail/Voxman (pub. Rubank)
"Andante and Allegro" - Marcello/Voxman (pub. Rubank)
"Sarabande and Gigue" - Corelli/Voxman (pub. Rubank)
"Pastorale"** (Sonata No.5) - Platti/Hervig (pub. Rubank)
"Gigue"** - Aubert/Clark (pub. Edition Musicus)
"Solo de Concours" - Rabaud/? (Edition Musicus) haven't played this
arrangement, but I think it's the regular clarinet part

(published for alto clarinet)
"Concertino"** - Weber/McCathren&Frank (pub. Kendor) written with
original clarinet fingering (starts on b-flat)

(published for alto saxophone)
"Concertino" - Weber/Davis (pub. Rubank) not good for clarinet
since it is at original pitch, meaning fingerings are changed
(starts on f)
"Sonata"** - Fasch/Rascher (pub. McGinnis & Marx) even though this
was written for a "low" instrument (bassoon/cello), most people
don't know it, so it's not a culture shock to hear it on Eb (there
is also a version for bass clarinet)
"Concert Solo No. 1" - Rougnon/Meyer/Voxman&Block (pub. Southern)
"Concerto In A Minor" - Vivaldi/Ostrander (pub. Edition Musicus)
"Sonata" - Eccles/Rascher (pub. Elkan-Vogel)
"Aria"** - Bozza (pub. Leduc)
"Sonata V"** - Handel/Ramsay (pub. Medici Music)
"Sonata, Op.1, No.7" - Vivaldi/Hunt (pub. C. Fischer)
"First Concertino"** - Guilhaud/Voxman (pub. Rubank)
"Sicilienne" - Lantier (pub. Leduc)
"1re Sonate" (flute) - Handel/Mule (pub. Leduc)
"2e Sonate" (violin) - Handel/Mule (pub. Leduc)
"6e Sonate"** (violin) - Handel/Mule (pub. Leduc)
"Quatrieme Sonate" (flute) - Handel/Mule (pub. Leduc)
"4e Sonate" (flute) - Bach/Mule (pub. Leduc)
"Aria" (from Suite in D for Orchestra) - Bach/Mule (pub. Leduc)

** = my favorites

Some of these pieces I got when I studied alto sax, but I don't own
one, so they now get played on my "eefer" (or as some spell
"ephur").
