I just came back from a two week workshop (which was actually
master-classes) at Tanglewood with Dr. Ethan Sloane of Boston
University. The camp was great fun, because aside from the classes, you
hang out with many different personalities, but all of you have one thing
in common: the love for Music. It's really great, I wish I had signed up
for the Young Artists Orchestra program too, which takes you through more
music for 6 wks more. The camp is competitive of course, requiring that
you send in a tape or do a live audition, but it guarantees that you
child 'chills with other, musically talented people. The staff are great
fun, also musically talented. If you need more info, contact me at
mromaine@-----.edu within the next 4 wks, after that, I'll be
off somewhere else. I'm gonna try to set up a Tanglewood www page soon,
so keep an I out... adious, and keep "toot'n".
