I just read where people thought that playing oboe when you were
young made you crazy. It didn't mention other people ... However ...

Standing with your back to a 10-year-old who wants
to be Maynard Ferguson on his trumpet all of a sudden can
maim. I have the scar on my forehead to prove it - smacked it
on a doorway from the sudden shock. He's 12 now, and I've put on
at least 10 years in the meantime.
