I once attended a clarinet workshop given by Reginald Kell...gosh...30
years ago... and I don't recall him using a double lip emboucher. 'Course,
I've been wrong before. He did use a nylon cap that fit over his front teeth,
that he said opened up his mouth/throat a bit and gave him a larger chamber
for resonance.I use the black rubber, adhesive-backed, mouthpiece pads and
get the same results without worrying about swollowing the darn thing.
Just my $ .02 worth.
