If you're anywhere near a university go to their library and ask them to
help you dod a literature search. You will probably come up with a lot of
articles on physical technique and some on the psychology of various
instruments. You also might want to look at a listing of periodicals
because there are many musical magazines all over the world. You probably
won't get any hard data as both your teacher and anyone else can really
only offer opinion on that subject.
