I love my Goretex pads. I have them on both Bb and A. They don't make the
horn "bright" (as I was told they would) as much as "alive." They are very
consistent and resistent to water. They play the same at the end of the
night as at the beginning. I've had them 15 months plus, and they seem
fine. I'll be taking my horns back to Tony Valenti in Alexandria for a
check, and will report how much regulation, reseating, etc. was needed.
