I left out the age ranges for the Lakewood N.J. Music Festival. There are
different divisions of levels from 2nd year of playing up to 31 years old. We
have students from over 15 countries coming to the music festival. The
Orchestra conductor for the Faculty Orch. is Ransom Wilson (Yale-Dean of
School of Music) and the Student Orch is Directed by the conductor of the
Phila. Youth Orch. Joseph Primavera. Clarinet students attending include
Phila. Youth Orch members, a recent Masters Grad from Northwestern, and others
of All levels. I will be auditioning students at the festival, as the
deadlines for live auditions have passed, but there are still some openings
left. The Sax teacher is from the Julliard School- Ken Lampl who is in charge
of the Julliard Doctoral Theory Program. There is a Jazz division, and a Wind
Ensemble. Daily Masterclasses will include much of the standard Rep. both solo
and orchestral.
I will be the Clarinet instructor.
