Subj: Summer Music Festival openings

There are still a few student clarinet, and bassoon positions open for the
Foundation of the Arts music festival. The orchestra will be studying Debussy
Fetes, Tchk. Violin Concerto, Smetana Ov. Bartered Bride, Brahms 4th Sym.,
Mendelssohn Scherzo from Midsummer nights dream. Daily Master Classes are
given. There will be Chamber music, as well as Orchestral Studies.
Ransom Wilson (Lincoln Center and Yale) will be the Flute instructor with Judy
Dines (Houston Sym.). The U.S. Navy Band Principal Brass will instruct Brass,
and I will be teaching Clarinet. This is going to be a great festival.
The Dates are Aug 3-11 in Lakewood , N.J. (near Great Adventure Theme
