I have stayed in Tokio for about 2 years, there are some decent shops, but
they are not that easy to get to.

I recommend the Yamaha shop in Ginza (JR or subway), just ask somebody once
you're there. Anybody around Ginza should know where it is.
They have a good selection of CDs (Tokio Kosei and all that stuff with
Frederick Venell, Alfred Reed..., but also play along music) and music. I
wouldn't expect to see any bargains, but that's Japan (make sure to take
enough money with you!).
