That's correct. There is no International Buffet-Crampon Service
Network! There are, though, at least 2 warranties involved. One is
the manufacturer's warranty which usually states that they will repair
or replace the offending item if it is shipped to them at your
expense. The second is the company that sold the item. They may have
an additional warranty that may even have been implied and _not_
written down anywhere. Lately, these implied warrantees have been
upheld in law suits as binding contracts. In most states, what a
salesman says he or she will do for you, they had better do. At least
here in Maryland, The Attorney General's Office just loves small
business warranty claims. ;-)
