You probably need to be breathing more often. Here's a recommendation:

1 Get a metronome. It's the best way to learn rhythmic precision, and
it will also teach you how to breathe and come back in on the beat.

2 Get a copy of the Baermann (SP) Studies. They are very lovely, very
German etudes that teach phrasing and breath control. They're fully
marked. You'll be surprised how often he recommends breathing.
