Help!

Didn't I see a picture of a (full no less)Boehm from c. 1845
in Rendall's book? I presume Muhlfield played on some
modification of a Mueller(sorry about the spelling). Was it
not an Oehler? How did it differ?

I know there have been bore modifications and changes in the
tone hole shapes as well as other niceties, but what changes
in the player's view of the mechanism has occured since 1890?

I once had a full Boehm Selmer from c.1910; was that a period
instrument? (God! I gave it to the college!).
