Nice tips from Fred J. on NY music stores!!

I am going to NY city in a few weeks with my brother and I am
interested in finding some good jazz clubs. I am NOT interested in the
overpriced, overblown places like the Vanguard. I am more interested in
some of the "joints" that serve up good jazz and good beer. Any such
place? Just don't send me any place dangerous!
