Michelle,
Forget about those overpriced "reed knives" and use what I use...
a swiss army knofe. The metal is excellent quality and it holds an edge
well. Besides, it is much more useful because you can also open bottles,
fix loose screws, etc. with it. Try THAT with a reed knife. The more
important thing is to have a good sharpening stone and to know how to use it.
