The Malcolm Arnold Trio is a fun trio, with some challenging moments,
technically, and balance-wise. I had one of my college students (medium
ability) do it this year, and I've played it as well.

Paul DeWailly wrote a very short piece, "Aubade" pub. International, that
is charming.

The Beethoven Trio for 2 oboes/Eng Horn was arranged by Langenus for
fl/ob/cl, and is very effective in that combination. Pub Carl Fischer, I
believe, if it's still in print.

Alvin Etler also wrote a Trio for this combination. Although I'm a big
fan of Etler's music, I wouldn't recommend this one for "social
gatherings" (!!)
