An echo from the aging beginner amateur population: a few weeks ago all
tonguing exercises were a disaster, and I was redoublingg my curse on
Vandoran for their reeds. But a trip to Marsh Woodwinds here in Raleigh
and throwing myself at their mercy to check and replace a couple of pads if
necessary solved about 90% of the problem. I suspect that amongst the
non-professional ranks the ravages of a leaky horn are easily underestimated.
