Sonata, Leonard Bernstein
Sonata(s), Francis Poulenc
Concerto, Aaron Copland.

I find it interesting that these pieces are three of the most beautiful,
spititual, emotional, moving pieces to be written for the clarinet, and
are all written by gay composers. Consider also the rest of their
compositional output, as well as that of composers like Samuel Barber and
Benjamin Britten.
