I've read an incredible lot on this board about the Bonade inverted ligature.
I have one but I'm not able to use a thick reed with it. I find it extremely
awkward to use, but just the same I'm quite curious because so many players
are happy with them. Are there different sizes or something? Mine says Bb on
it (I think!) I've heard some vague stuff about "filing" the inside rails.
Is this done to fit the thing on the mouthpiece, or, is it an only an
acoustical issue?
