Dr. Gholson,

I saw your post on the clarinet mailing list and decided to answer.
My name is Clyde West and I studied with you for a brief period during my
teaching days at Mississippi Valley State. How are you? During that
time I mentioned the possibility of doing a DMA there, but things just
never worked out. Would the teaching assistantship that you wrote
about be that type of thing, leading to a DMA? If not, do you know of any
other
avenues that I can explore at this point?
