I do a chromatic scale all the way up until clarion D. Then I pull my
fingers off the holes, but not one hole at a time, more like, mostly take
your finger off of the D hole, but at the same time start taking your finger
off of the E hole, then start the F hole, and by then the D hole is
completely open, and you start the G hole, and so on. Some tricks I do are
to start the gliss very fast, in order to match the chromatic scale smoothly,
but then to slow it down more and more as you approach the top - you can drag
it out for an amazingly long time! Also, towards the top, as you slide you
finger off the A-hole, keep your finger on the ring so that it doesn't rise
at all. After all of your fingers are off the holes, then, and only then,
slooooowly let that A-ring rise up with your middle finger to finally bring
the pitch up to that C. I do drop my throat and tongue a bit to add to the
effect, bringing everything into position at the end of the "C". Two weeks
is plenty of time! Have fun and don't be afraid to experiment. I got it
late one night around midnight walking around a large rehearsal room in an
empty music building when noone could hear me. Only took about a half an
hour of hellasious noise to get that gliss happening.
