I am sure that I'm not alone in my strong interest in this subject. Is
there somewhere one can find more on this subject, i.e., how the actual
clarinet tone is analyzed with the strength and distribution of overtones
measured and visually represented. I would be pleased if there were a
nomenclature for classifying clarinet sounds based on physical science
rather than the vague terms we now deal with.
