My tenor MP is a metal Otto Link #8 used with a Hemke 1 1/2 reed. This Link
has a .110 tip opening, same as the Larsen. I like the flexibility and ease
of playing (takes a lot of getting used to, though)and for doubling it's
always ready to play and doesn't bother the clarinet embouchure. I have
used this combination in symphony work where it can be played gently.
