You should also check out the Yamaha 52 - a close approximation to the
professional level 72's. You may have to call around - the catalogue
folks aren't allowed to advertise prices for Yamahas, but they do carry
them. A friend played one of these 52s in his Army Band gig, to avoid
destroying an expensive professional instrument in parades and outdoor
concerts. It always sounded as good as any professional level instrument.
