Clark Fobes' posting on mouthpiece quirks was interesting to me. This
thing about Kaspar mouthpieces being longer on the right side probably
explains why, for the past 20 years, I have had to make my reeds for my
Kaspar mouthpieces slightly thinner [by about 2/1000 inch] on the right
side. My mouthpiece by Rick Sayre acts the same way - I believe he was a
protege of Kaspar - I wonder if his mouthpieces measure the same way...
This may also be why I never have good luck with commercial reeds

Just some observations requiring no reply from anyone.
