Hi Jacqueline:

You bring up an interesting thought regarding cleaning the instrument. That
dry climate you live in does wonders for eliminating excess water, saliva,
etc., from the bore and tone holes. This is especially true when playing
outdoor concerts, particularly in those summer evenings when the heat is just
comfortable and the edge is off. Here in my Pennsylvania homeland, seems as
the high humidity makes continuous checking of pads, joints, etc., a
necessity.

Incidentally, have you had the time to lend an ear to that tape. Would be
interested in your thoughts.

Will be interested to hear the UA's latest CD of that Mass when it is
released.
