Randy,

I will be attending a chamber-music workshop at Ashland, Oregon
(which is near the home of list member Frank Brugman) during the second
week in July. There is also a second session during the third week in July.

I have attended either this workshop or the one at Humboldt State
University at Arcata, California for the last 17 years and find them
rather addictive. The attendees range from intermediate levels to
advanced professionals, and the experience is sufficiently habit forming to
have created several colonies of chamber-music junkies.

As for age ranges, I'd say from mid-teens to no upper limit.
Although there is understandably a heavier concentration of west-coast
attendees, the demographics of players are nationwide. As an
example, last-year's Ashland roster included people from Pennsylvania,
Connecticut, Kansas, Texas, and British Columbia (Vancouver), as well as
people from Oregon, Washington, California, and Arizona.

If you or others on the list are interested, I have been informed
that there are still openings for clarinet players for both Weeks 1 and 2.
