Hello, everyone! -

Apologies if this is a repeated posting, but I don't think my first attempt
was successful.

There is a debate raging here about when and if to use the center joint to
solve intonation problems. I realize that there are times when tuning at the
barrel joint may not be sufficient at which time you might use the center
joint also. However, is there ever an instance when it is proper to use the
center joint, exclusively, for tuning. Any and all knowledgeable information
would be greatly appreciated. Please hurry as our discussions have become
rather heated!

Many thanks in advance! ......................................... Sharon H.
