Randy,

Even though you've already compiled a fine list, there are many
more worthy titles that should be on it. The following are a some
additional selections you might consider for your list:

1. Prokofiev: Overture on Hebrew Themes, Sextet and Orchestral
versions;

2. Gould: Derivations for Clarinet and Jazz Band

3. Weber: Clarinet Quintet -- It's almost a concerto as
Sabine Meyer demonstrated when she recorded it with a string orchestra;

4. Berio/Brahms: Sonata in F Minor -- This is the orchestral
transcription of the piano part of the sonata, which you already had on
your list;

5. Rossini: Variations for Clarinet and Chamber Orchestra
(This is in addition to the Theme and Variations in your list);

6. Templeton: Pocket Size Sonata

7. Liverani: Cujus Animam from Rossini's Stabat Mater

8. Francaix: Concerto (I can't remember if this was on your list).

Looking through my library, I can see there are more titles I didn't
mention. I hope this partial input helps.

Connie
