I am still waiting for my free ones, but my teacher gave me a couple to try
and I was quite impressed. I normally play a V-12 #4 reed and I have a
3-1/2 and a 4 that I have tried. The 3-1/2 was a bit on the soft side, but
it was a great reed. The 4 was a bit hard, but with a little bit of work,
it will be a great reed. I like them, because they have a ballanced,
well-defined heart and the cane is of pretty good quality. I can't wait to
try a whole box of them because I would like to see how consistant they are.
I would also like to see how they break in. If things continue this well, I
am definitely going to change brands.
