Check this out, folks. Stoltzman will open his teaching studio at the
New England Conservatory in Fall 1996. A colleague of mine here at S.M.U
was accepted at N.E.C. recently, into their Master's program, but couldn't
afford to go. Then he got a call from the chair of the school, offering him a
slot in Stoltzman's studio. It is, for this particular person, a dream come
true because he has idolized Stoltzman for many years. For me, this would be
like winning an audition to study with Karl Leister. Fantastic. Anybody
else have information on Stoltzman's decision to start teaching?
