THe Rovner ED has some similarities to the BG Revelation ligature. The
teflon impregnation of the material is a great improvement ove the older
Rovner material, as it adjusts very smoothly on the mouthpiece without
binding. No need for talcum powder etc. The skin does not come off your
thumb when you tighten the ligature! I found I went back to the BG
Traditional + which has a little brighter sound. The Bay ligatures are
very pretty lightweight metal inverted ligatures, but tend to scratch the
top of the mouthpiece unless you put a patch on the top of the mouthpiece.
