I agree with Clark's comments entirely. Tuning is an individual affair,
impacted by many variables including the player, mouthpieces, reeds,
instruments, etc. Even the best instrument makers are far from perfect.

I have filled some tone holes with Blue Tack (sp?) for at least 7 years with no
problems. Its easily removed and doesn't come loose.
