Hi Greg,

Morre reeds have been out of production since the death of M. Morre
roundabout of 1989. Rumour has it that his production equipment was all
destroyed because he did not want his "secret" to get out (actually, I'm
sure that's an over-dramatization!).

Vandoren V-12's were originally intended as a replacement for the Morres,
but I never thought they were as good. I heard from Greg Smith this
morning something about a profiler that makes the V-12's more like
Morres. I'm sure he will be posting something about it soon. Keep your
eyes open!
