Hello out there,
I'm one of those pro burger flippers who plays clarinet for fun!
It seems that the union has done some good and some bad. The good is
the higher wages and better working conditions. The bad is that it has
driven work (just like the auto industry) overseas, I am refering to
studio recordings which are higher here then in Europe.
One reason there are so few big jaszz bands is that it has not been
economically possible for many years.
And, of course, the icing on the burger is the synth.
Well, I'm out to LUNCH. :+)
