Steve,
There isn't a strata on this list. That's the nice thing. But did
you ever go to an ICA conference? Maybe I'm wrong. I've talked to
colleagues of other instruments and they've admitted that there is this
invisible boundary at their conferences and that this shouldn't be. Did
you ever read an editorial or message from the president in "Clarinet" that
even mentioned "our amateur" members? Has there ever been an official of
the ICA that was an amateur?
