Having that piano part playing along with you will do amazing things
for your practice, too. Have your accompanist record the piano part
for you. You'll be able to hear the "music" as you practice and
when you get back together for rehearsals you'll have a better feel
for the piece, making the rehearsal an efficient one.

For those lucky enough to have MIDI setups, the accompaniment can
be recorded and played back at a slower tempo for those difficult
passages. A non-tiring accompanist (albeit an uncaring, unemotional
one ;^).
