Clark,

You're absolutely right that tape is a temporary solution. Good fabric
tape only will last a few years. The epoxy is much better. However, I
shudder at the thought of some players mixing and applying epoxy to their
clarinet. Besides, taping is something that being temporary can be
changed easier if one finds out they don't like it.

Do you really think that the extra rings on the Prestige make _that_
much of a difference. Buffet inisits that it is the better and longer
aged wood. Are they feeding us a line?
