I've been slogging through clarinet tutors from ca. 1790 to 1825 for
a research project with which I am currently occupied. One of the
tutors that I read was Jean Xavier Lefevre's "Methode de Clarinette."

There is nothing, zippo, in the document that allows one to know when
it was published. I know Lefevre was born in 1763 and died in 1829
so I presume that this book was published somewhere in that time
period, but I need to know it for sure and I need to know the year
of publication. I'm very hesitant to quote someone without a full
citation and that includes year of publication.

Anyone out there know the answer to this question?
