Good morning all,

The Cavallaro does in fact fit snug around the double case. If you check
page 84 of the Woodwind and Brasswind 1996 catalog you will see the fabric
is imitation lambswool lining. If you want an oversize cover the Alteri or
Deg is the answer. I bought my Deg at a closeout sale.

The main reasons you buy the case covers are: 1. To protect the case. 2.
To have a space to store music. 3. (probably should be #1) to provide a
consistent climate for your precious clarinet. They provide protection
against abrupt hot and cold.
