Subj: Which Rovner Ligature?

Start out with the regular. They're all good and there's not much
difference between them.

They all emulate the string ligature so highly recommended by many on
this list. Except you have only a single screw to worry about.

If you're switching from a metal ligature, expect a softer, less piercing
sound. It's like switching to Dolby on a tape deck. Also, you'll probably
find that many more reeds are acceptable with the Rovner.
