To anybody who may be interested, David Martins, Prof. of Clarinet at UMass
Lowell, is hosting a one-day clarinet fest this Saturday, April 13, at UMass
Lowell in Lowell, Mass. This years participants include, Guy Chadash and
Blair Bettencourt. This is the Sixth Annual Clarinet Congress at Lowell.
Previous ones have been a lot of fun. The day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30
p.m. There are exhibits and a masterclass with Guy Chadash, as well as a
chamber music concert and performances by the UMass Lowell clarinet quartet,
choir and Alumni choir. Great fun will be had by all. Registration starts
at 8:30 a.m. and costs $10. Location, Durgin Hall, UMass Lowell, Lowell,
