Nate, no one said anything about handcuffs. Those are your words, not
anyone else's. You perceive what we have been talking about as
restraints, but in fact, they are exactly the opposite. Mozart, of
all people, provides a canvas on which you can do a lot of things
that you cannot do, for example, in Weber, Mendelssohn, Brahms, etc.

It is simply a recognition that certain eras require certain restraints.

But handcufffs??? We must all be communicating very badly for you
to have come to that conclusion.
