Dear Denise,
as you know I can't speak of one composer in few
words without reducing his thinking and intentions (I hope I wrote
the right words).
Salvatore's Music is the best way to reach soul introspection; I've never he=
ard
in my career of contemporary music player something more immediate.
Difficult writing, (very difficult).
His research touches silence (very often) but you've compositions of extreme
strength (i.e. IV Sonata for piano).
I recommend you "Let me die before I wake" for solo, even if you don't have
the full boehm
clarinet.
Of course a lot of pieces you can find:

with clarinet we find:

DA UN DIVERTIMENTO for 10 instruments
DI ZEFIRO E PAN for 10 wind instruments
QUINTETTINO n=B01 for clarinet & strings
QUINTETTINO n=B02 for wind quintet
INTRODUZIONE ALL'OSCURO for ensemble
OMAGGIO A BURRI for bass clarinet, bass flute & violin
ESPLORAZIONE DEL BIANCO II for ensemble
LO SPAZIO INVERSO for ensemble

and so on

All published by Ricordi - Milan.

Try to get some scores. It's the best way to realize how he writes
music and let him go through your body & personality.
That's all.

Ciao Paolo
