I used a reverse Bonade with my regular Vandoren reeds. When I switched
to the thicker V12s, I, too, had a problem with the ligature slipping off
the mouthpiece.

I switched to a Rovner fabric ligature with only one screw. The slippage
problem--and many other ligature difficulties--went away.
