Since we are on the subject, let me ask another question. I am using
a reverse Bonade on a recently acquired Vandoren mouthpiece. The
problem I have is that the ligature tends to slip up toward the tip
of the mouthpiece.

I would hate to rough up either the outside of the mouthpiece or the
inside of the ligature. However, something needs to be done to give
it more grip. What are the recommended solutions?
