I think the E-11 and E-12 are made out of wood, actually. I have the Buffet
brochure in front of me, and the B-12 looks like it's the only plastic
model. I don't know how I feel about the E-line instruments; I don't think
the company makes more money from their professional instruments, so that's
where they put their emphasis -- much less care goes into making the
intermediate level ones.
