Talking about coloured reeds, I met a clarinettist at a music camp 2
years ago who had been playing on the same reed for 2 years. She
hadn't used any other reed except that one. I would have thought the reed
should have quit on her a long time ago especially since it was BLUE! I
asked her why it was blue and she said that it just became like that over
time. Does anybody know why that would happen? Just out of curiosity of
course.
