I quoted the above rather randomly-- really just to capture the nasty edge
of this exchange. As an amateur clarinetist who's associated with a large
number of professional musicians who play a wide range of instruments, I've
become something of a bore trumpeting the relaxed attitude and high level
of exchange associated with this List. In the time I've been following the
List I've never witnessed an exchange couched with in such malice. Count
to 10 guys, we don't need it. Overreaction begets overreaction.
