This was not meant to be a joke. Yes, this is a story, one that I received
from someone that played with Goodman himself. Now, you say you "know" that
he was not playing a Buffet when he was endorsing Selmer? Did you know
Benny himself or even know any musicians that played with him? I do know
many musicians who knew him, and when I say that I do not want to mention
names, I do not want anything to get back to them, after all, I have to play
with these guys. You obviously cannot read, or you would have seen the
beginning of the message, "Just another Benny Goodman story." There were
many of these, some true, some not, but to say that I am being sarcastic and
joking is totally off the deep end, and once again, I think you need to "get
a life" for having to argue about so many things that you have no knowledge
of. And what, do you think that everyone that endorses a product actually
uses that product? You must not know many musicians, or you would know that
some don't, cause I sure know proffesional musicians that don't use the
product they endorse. I'm not going to get into whether this is ethical or
not, I'm just stating the fact that it happens.
