I found this out from a musician who played with Goodman later in Benny's
career. That story surprised me too, cause I always thought of him as a
Selmer man. But then again, there are so many stories about Goodman...I
don't guess we'll ever REALLY know for sure, cause Goodman could've been
just playing around with this other musician.
